Hi, everyone! My name is Alam Lejis and I’m currently a junior here at CLC. This will be my first complete year in the Newspaper Club as I joined during early March last year. Besides Newspaper, I am involved in the CLC band as a percussionist, Latino Leadership, and Page Turners. I love to write and learn many new forms of writing which is a big reason why I chose to join Newspaper. About me, as previously stated, I love to write, but I also love to read. Additionally, I love to travel and learn more about the different cultures that our world has to offer. I especially like going to Mexico, my home country, and learning more about my culture along the way. Hopefully, during my time in Newspaper Club, I’ll be able to teach people more about the diverse community CLC and Crystal Lake have and the beauty of it.
